Sunday School, Youth Groups, Vacation Bible School
New Goshenhoppen Sunday School offers 5 different classes each Sunday morning beginning at 9:15 AM, September through June. There is a class for adults of various ages, and 4 youth classes including PreSchool/PreK, Kindergarten through third grade, Fourth through seventh grades, and 8th through 12th grades. The adult class utilizes the Present Word curriculum and the oldest youth class uses Echo 360. The three younger groups use the curriculum from Deep Blue Kids and begin their Sunday School time in the Sanctuary. We meet together in a large group, hearing the lesson in two different formats, then break into our smaller groups for the remaining class time.
New Goshenhoppen offers two youth groups: Junior Youth which includes grades 4-8, and Senior Youth which covers grades 8-12. These groups work together to grow in God’s love through fellowship, service, and fun. Each group attends a yearly retreat to strengthen their bonds with each other and their faith.
The Sunday School presents two programs each year: Spring and Christmas. Each program incorporates the talents of the Sunday School students. In addition, each year there is an Advent Workshop to celebrate the season with craft making and togetherness.
One of the highlights of the year is the annual Vacation Bible School offered for a week in June. Our skilled and knowledgeable volunteers lead our students with games, music, crafts, and stories in learning about God’s love for all.

Groups that are part of Christian Education include: Youth Groups, Outdoor Ministries, and Women’s Fellowship. Committee meetings take place on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 pm. Come join us!
Outdoor Ministry
The Outdoor Ministry Committee raises funds to help send children, youth, and adults to on site summer day camp programs as well as retreats offered by the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference (PSEC). Fundraisers help to pay half of any church member's participation costs. Click here for more info on the New Gosh Camping Program.
The Outdoor Ministry Committee also helps plan and support the summer programs offered in the church park. Information and schedules for these programs can be found at New Gosh Park.
In addition to the camping programs, the committee helps organize and assists with the Easter Dawn service. After the service, the committee hosts a continental breakfast in the church kitchen.
The committee encourages adult members to participate in several retreat programs offered by the PSEC through the Spiritual Life Commission. Two PSEC fall programs, Ventures and Walking with God, are overnight events held at the Mariawald Renewal Center near Reading. Scholarship funds are available to adult members to help pay the cost of the event. Information for these programs can be found at PSEC.org.
Women's Fellowship
No matter your season of life, Women’s Fellowship offers opportunities for spiritual growth, service, & fellowship. Our purpose is to unite all the women of the church in Christian fellowship.
Women's Fellowship meets monthly and holds events throughout the year including hot dog roasts, coffee klatch get-togethers, ice-cream socials, and theater trips. Funds raised from events are used to support neighbors in need, general fund support for the church, accessibility, and other outreach programs.
