Worship is the center of all that we do at New Goshenhoppen.  In worship we sing songs, share in spoken word, listen, examine scripture, and pray in order to deepen our faith and encounter The Divine among us.  No passive activity, worship is when we use our hearts, bodies, minds, and spirits to face the fullness of life together- our joys, sorrows, longings, celebrations, and needs. Through it all, worship is intended for transformation- for us to be a changed people, emboldened and strengthened to be followers of Jesus in the outside world.

In worship you can expect to experience inspiring and challenging sermons, a rich selection of musical offerings (organ, vocal choirs, handbell choirs, orchestra, brass choir, solos), the holy sacraments of baptism and communion, and familiar and new hymns alike.  The order of worship, or liturgy as it is formally called, means “the work of the people” and we believe that worship belongs to all of us at New Gosh. Thus, you will see members of the congregation, even the youngest among us, leading us in the many parts of our worship life.

Worship informs everything we do together as a community. We could write so much more, but we believe the best way to know what our worship is about is to come and experience it for yourself! Will you join us?
