New Gosh is a combination of human beings who live & work, who love & suffer, who worry & hope.  No two people are alike.  The one thing we hold in common is our faith in Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

New Goshenhoppen lives as a firm foundation for the Christian faith and shall continue to serve God by sharing the light, faith, and love of Jesus Christ with all people guided by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Senior Pastor's Ponderings...

Simon Chan writes what kind of life does the Christian story give rise to? This question is important, since the answer to it determines the shape of our spirituality.

We all love a story. Have you ever noticed that a child best loves a story that we tell when they become part of the story? We were made not simply to enjoy a story, but to enter into the story as well. In the past several years, I have been on an adventure of learning how to read the “story” of scripture and find myself in the story. As I enter into the story it helps me to make sense of life.

Harvest Home

On Sunday, September 18, 2022, Harvest Home will be observed during our worship services. Each day, we give thanks to God for His provisions that enable our sustenance. However, it is on this Sunday that we ask members to remember those who may not be as fortunate as we are. Would you please donate non-perishable food items to be donated to OPEN LINK? Those in need may be anyone---not just church members, but ALL members of God’s earth.

If you wish, you may bring donations of food anytime before Sunday, September 18 or you may bring them when you come to worship on September 18. Please do what is convenient for you. We ask that you place your donations in the Social Room. Please mark the bags or boxes with the words, OPEN LINK or HEALTH AND WELFARE.

IN ADDITION TO NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS---- We please ask that members continue to donate any monetary funds and gift cards that can be used for the purchase of food for those in need. These gifts will remain in our church for distribution to members and even non-members. By providing monetary gifts and gift cards, families are able to purchase fresh produce and perishable items, such as meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, and dairy products.

Of a special note: Would you kindly check expiration dates on the packages and cans that you donate? Please…….only donate items that are not expired. Your cooperation is appreciated and we thank you.
